The Bessemer City Middle Cheerleading Squad consists of 13 cheerleaders and 1 mascot, Freddie. The cheerleaders work diligently to promote the type of sportsmanship that will help the students acquire the basic attributes of good citizenship; to develop a wholesome school spirit; to develop loyalty to the school and team spirit between the student body, the faculty, and the school administration.
