Hello Everyone!

I am Lottie Moon, the 6th Grade Physical Education teacher, and Girls' Basketball Coach here at Bessemer City Middle School. I love teaching and motivating my students to be the best version of themselves everyday. Teaching is not just a job for me but it is my passion. I am from the Ensley community in Birmingham, Alabama, and I come from a family of educators. 

I went to Tuskegee University, where I played basketball for 4 years. I received All-Conference honors, and was Team Captain. I am still very close with my collegiate teammates, and coach. 

I am married to Kawana Moon!!! Together, we have 3 daughters; Kashmere (18), Jordan (12), and Kaydence (10).
