Bio

I am a product of the Bessemer City School System. During my undergraduate career at the University of Alabama at Tuscaloosa (Roll Tide Roll!), I pledged the greatest sorority in the world, Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc.  One of my greatest passions is my love for dance. I am a conscientious and passionate instructor who has dedicated nineteen years to the teaching profession. Serving as a role model and influencer for 21st century students and motivating them to become life-long learners. Each school year as the paradigm shifts, challenging myself to be steadfast in the continuous development of my pedagogy. My philosophy of education is to constantly remind students that education is the passport to the future, for tomorrow belongs to those who prepare for it today.
