CLASSROOM EXPECTATIONS
1. Follow the Bessemer City Schools Handbook rules at all times.
2. Follow the Positive Behavior Support Module at all times.
3. Bullying will not be tolerated (no harmful language,
inappropriate physical contact, improper use of
technology to embarrass a fellow classmate).
4. School ID’s must be worn daily.
5. Boys must tuck shirts in their pants at all times.
6. Colored shirts will not be permitted under uniform
shirt.
7. Be seated in your assigned seat daily (with supplies) once the
tardy bell sounds.
8. Students will be allowed to go to lockers only at designated times.
9. Take water and restroom breaks between classes and on 2nd and 5th period.
10. Follow directions at all times.
11. Cell phones will be taken if displayed or used in class
(unless connected to an assignment).
12. Raise your hand and be recognized, when you wish to
ask a question.
13. Listen when the teacher or someone else is addressing
the class.
14. There will be no eating or drinking in the classroom.
15. Do not bring food into the classroom.
16. It is each student’s responsibility to make up home-work assignments and/or tests missed because of absence. You must see the teacher to arrange a time to make up a test.
17. Do not write on the desks, walls, floor, or books.
18. Students will be dismissed from all classes by the teacher.
